New York Knicks

I'm not sure if the New York Knicks have all the pieces in place right now, but by adding Carmelo Anthony they are certainly one big step closer to being a NBA championship contender. Although considering the mismanagement over the last 10 years it's heard to believe they won't mess this up too.

With the MLB playoffs set to begin, there is a subtle difference in the air compared to start of any other postseason. In the NHL, fans can potentially look forward to a great Canadians/Bruins series that is not only exciting, but has a historical kick to it. Likewise basketball fans always have the chance to see if the Suns can finally get past the Spurs and football fans love seeing the rivalry of the Eagles Vs the City of Philadelphia when the Eagles so much as get tackled for a loss.

morale.  However, after further investigation of the Cleveland Cavaliers' game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday, I have come to this conclusion: the team simply stinks.  But how can anyone argue with that given the results?  Giving up 63 points to the Knicks in the first half is simply inexcusable and would certainly seem to disprove coach Mike Brown's deep obsession with a defense-first attitude.  Either that or the team has stopped buying into his system, which also would not be surprising.  Sooner or later, fans might have to come to terms with the realization that the Cavs, their beloved 'Bron & Co., is one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference.
